Since Saturday October 7, “Black Shabbat”, we have all been glued to our computers, television news, social media, and other sources of information.
Upon hearing of the events, so many of us began to mobilize. “What can I do?” “How can I help?” “Where can I volunteer?” “Where can I give blood? food? clothes?
Help those displaced from their homes or sent to the front lines?”
Being outside of Israel presented a different challenge, and giving money seemed the only way to help.
So Western Galilee Now, together with the Lauder Employment Center, and powered by Jewish National Fund USA, decided to organize packages with healthy and comforting projects that can be purchased and sent to soldiers on active duty, families who have been displaced from their homes, or to your loved ones who are simply suffering and traumatized by these recent events.
The packages will include products produced by small businesses from the Negev and Galilee with love and care.
In these difficult times, this is one way to connect directly to and provide support for those in Israel directly impacted, be it your Loved Ones Residents that were forced to leave their homes after they had been destroyed or simply to remain safe, and soldiers on the front lines.
The packages will be tailored to suit the needs of the recipients, making sure they are healthy, pampering and soothing.
You can add a personal note, and we will make sure it reaches the right people.
Thank you for generosity and kindness, with hope for better days to come.
